Senior Housing: Developer is pursuing two senior-care projects in San Antonio
Locally based Franklin Development Corp. is bringing its high-end take on senior living to San Antonio’s far North Side.
The first of two new communities by Franklin Development will debut next spring. Christened Franklin Park Sonterra, the project will be located at Loop 1604 and Sonterra Place.
The facility will boast 150 independent-living units ranging in size from 785 to 1,650 square feet. Franklin Park Sonterra will also include 52 assisted-living units — making it the first Franklin Park community to feature this higher level of care for seniors, according to Steve McAndrew, executive director for the facility.
To date, Franklin Development has four senior-living facilities up and running in Texas — all of them under the firm’s signature Franklin Park brand.
