Healthcare: New MOB to break ground on Nolensville

Plenty of preleasing at site that seeks to straddle Davidson, Williamson border

Southern Hills Medical Center will soon begin work on a 34,000-square-foot medical office building at Concord Road and Nolensville Pike, a collaboration with developer John Brewer.

The location was chosen as an effort to capitalize on populations in both Davidson and Williamson counties.

“We’re bringing physicians, specialists and imaging to the community to make getting great healthcare convenient,” Thomas Ozburn, Southern Hills’ CEO said in a release. “We’re responding to our community’s changing needs by adjusting our services and expanding our borders to provide services close to where people live and work.”

The two-story building has already seen a significant amount of preleasing, with HCA itself contracting for the majority of the ground floor. The company will operate a new imaging center and house physician groups in the space. The other medical tenants who have signed up for space include a dental practice, an orthopedic and sports medicine group, a gynecology practice, a primary care physician and a heart and vascular clinic. Construction is expected to take 10 months.

The developer has been working on the project for 16 months. Binkley-Garcia Architecture & Interior Design was responsible for the structure’s design. Barge Cauthen Associates, I.C. Thomasson Associates and EMC, PC added secondary engineering support. Harvest Construction is the contracted construction firm and Pinnacle Financial Partners provided financing.
