Senior Housing: Company enters assisted living market in county

Brightview Senior Living, owner of assisted living communities in the Northeast, has entered the South Jersey market with the buying of two Sunrise assisted living centers in Mount Laurel and Deptford.

They have been renamed Brightview Mount Laurel and Brightview Woodbury Lake.

Brightview acquired the facilities from Mount Laurel homebuilder Hovnanian for more than $21 million. According to Brightview officials, there will be no layoffs, and services will be expanded.

The two centers were previously managed by Sunrise Senior Living, a company based in Virginia that has recently shed two dozen facilities to aid its financial picture.

  1. If this is not the forum for this, I apologies in advance.

I am looking for someone to JV in Sacramento, CA for a senior living facility. The land owners have architectural plans drawn up and did the leg work with the City, but they are lacking the financials.

146 bed facility in decent neighborhood in SAC, CA. It would be a sound investment. ES available.
