Senior Housing: Masonic Home plans $8M assisted-living center in Franklin

The Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on May 16 to mark the start of construction on an $8 million assisted-living center.
The center, which will be built on the organization’s 300-acre campus on State Street, represents the first phase of a long-range plan approved by the Franklin City Council on Monday.
Construction of the building will be funded largely by contributions, which include a $2 million grant from the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation in Indianapolis.
The Franklin retirement community offers independent living quarters, as well as a skilled-nursing center that provides memory care, rehabilitation and long-term care services.
