Healthcare: Med-office market is a real-estate bright spot

The anemic economy has brought most local commercial development to a standstill. But it has not put the brakes on medical office construction.
In March, San Antonio-based Christus Santa Rosa Health Care and the National Healthcare Business Unit of Trammell Crow Co. out of Dallas began construction on Medical Plaza II.
The three-story, 70,000-square-foot medical office facility will join an earlier office development, Medical Plaza I. Both are part of the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital — Westover Hills campus located on the city’s far West Side.
