Senior Housing: New assisted-living facility to replace Reidsville House

An assisted-living development firm has applied to state regulators to build a new 43-bed adult care home at an estimated cost of $2.8 million to replace the now-shuttered Reidsville House facility.

AA Holdings — Reidsville LLC, doing business as Reidsville House, along with Reidsville Health Holdings LLC, filed the application in the Certificate of Need section of the NC Division of Health Service Regulations.

Chuck White, director of development for Hickory-based Reidsville Health Holdings LLC, said the application seeks only to replace the beds that the firm now owns and is thus not competitive with other assisted living developers.
