Student Housing: Dinerstein sells Sterling 42nd Street
TAMPA – Sterling University Housing, the student housing division of The Dinerstein Companies, announced that a state pension fund has purchased Sterling 42nd Street, their 196-unit, 722-bed student housing community in Tampa.
In escrow for approximately 45 days, Sterling 42nd Street was 98% occupied at closing. Marcus & Milllichap’s National Student Housing Group represented the parties in the transaction, and the property was purchased for an undisclosed amount. Campus Advantage has been contracted to provide property management for the buyer.
Built in 2009, Sterling 42nd Street’s amenities include two resort-style pools, cyber cafe, fitness center, and tanning salon.
