Healthcare: Surgeon buys medical office building

BOULDER – A plastic surgeon and his wife have purchased an office at 2575 Pearl St. Suite 3A for $1.07 million.
The office, a 2,931-square-foot unit, will be the new home of Boulder Valley Plastic Surgery Inc., the practice of Dr. Jeff Swail.
Swail is moving from an office near Boulder Community Hospital at 2617 Broadway, where his practice was located for 16 years.
The practice’s old home had begun to show its age, Swail said, and the new building has several advantages.
“It’s a nicer, newer building, it has parking and it’s halfway between the two main campuses of the hospital,” Swail said.
Swail said he will have offices and exam and procedure rooms at the new location, where he will start seeing patients by the beginning of August.
Business has been brisk.
“Business has been excellent. This year I’m as busy as I’ve been since before the economic downturn,” Swail said.
The property is owned by Margo and Jeff’s International Global Real Estate Conglomerate LLC, which is an LLC formed by Swail and his wife. It was chosen to be humorous, but the couple has come to regret it now that they realize how many checks and forms they have to write it on, Swail said.
The unit’s prior owner was Cox Corner LLC, according to Boulder County Assessor’s Office records.
